This directory contains precompiled binaries of Mozilla 0.9.3
Please read the release notes at
http://mozilla.org/releases/mozilla0.9.3/
We do not guarantee that any source code or executable code
available from the mozilla.org domain is Year 2000 compliant.
These binaries were all built from the mozilla cvs repository
(http://www.mozilla.org/cvs.html), off the MOZILLA_0_9_3_RELEASE
tag, with the following commands used to obtain source:
On Unix:
cvs co -r MOZILLA_0_9_3_RELEASE mozilla/client.mk
cd mozilla
gmake -f client.mk checkout
On Win32:
cvs co -r MOZILLA_0_9_3_RELEASE mozilla/client.mak
cd mozilla
nmake -f client.mak pull_all
On MacOS:
In MacCVS Pro, open your Mozilla session, then choose the
"Action / checkout other module to..." menu item and fill out:
module: mozilla/build/mac/build_scripts
Check out to: MOZILLA_0_9_3_RELEASE
Then run 'BuildMozilla{Debug}.pl' as usual
mozilla-win32-installer-0.9.3.exe contains core.xpi (compressed core browser
files), mail.xpi (compressed mail/news files) and the installer required
to install them, plus talkback. This is your basic win32 client release.
mozilla-win32-0.9.3-talkback.zip contains all of dist/bin from an
optimized build with the addition of the talkback library. This package
includes many debug and test files, and does not include an installer.
If you do not understand this, you should use
mozilla-win32-installer-0.9.3.exe.
The following files contain the talkback library, which allows
reporting of crash data. This data allows developers to focus on fixing
the most frequent crashers.
