This tarball contains precompiled binaries of Mozilla milestone 0.9.3 for 
Solaris >= 2.7 SPARC.

We do not guarantee that any source code or executable code available from the 
mozilla.org domain is Year 2000 compliant, works in any way or may not eat your
harddisk alive.

This build is explicitly GDK/GTK+-free (e.g. it uses the "Xlib rendering 
module") - you do not need these libraries to run Mozilla.


* Minimum hardware requirements:
  You need at least a machine with a CPU which supports the SPARC v8 
  instruction set. Plain SPARC v7 may work - but wasn't tested...
  
  Recommended configurations:
  - SPARCstation 5/170MHz, >= 128MB
  or
  - UltraSPARC, >= 96MB

* Minimum software requirements:
  - Solaris 7 SPARC + recommended patches, see

    At least the following patches are _mandatory_:
    108376 OpenWindows 3.6.1: Xsun Patch
    107650 OpenWindows 3.6.1 X11R6.4 Xprint Extension Patch

    106327 SunOS 5.7: Shared library patch for C++
    106300 SunOS 5.7: Shared library patch for 64bit C++

* Usage of Xprint
  Starting with milestone 0.9.2 Mozilla5 shipps with an alternative print 
  module per default: Xprint 
  Short: Xprint is is very usefull if you want to print non-iso-latin-1 pages 
  (asian locales etc.).
  
  Usage:
  # Start Xprt (X print server)
  % Xprt :1 & 
  # or % Xprt -fp $(xset q | fgrep "/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/misc/") :1
  # if you have extra fonts in your fontpath
  
  # tell applications where they can find Xprt's (env var may contain multiple 
  # entries,seperated by space):
  % export XPSERVERLIST=":1"
  
  # start Mozilla. The existence of the XPSERVERLIST env var will enable the 
  # Xprint module automagically.
  % ./mozilla
  
  # Select "File/Print..." and use "Print Command" text widget to set the 
  # destination printer _name_.

  - removed mozilla/xpidl because it references libglib-1.2.so.0
  - fixed permissions and ownership (bin:bin), added ReadMe, created tarball
