This directory contains precompiled binaries of the
 Mozilla 1.7.10

We do not guarantee that any source code or executable code

These binaries were all built from the mozilla cvs repository
(http://www.mozilla.org/cvs.html), off the MOZILLA_1_7_10_RELEASE
tag, with the following commands used to obtain source:

On OSX/Unix/Windows:
  cvs co -r MOZILLA_1_7_10_RELEASE mozilla/client.mk
  cd mozilla
  make -f client.mk checkout

Read http://mozilla.org/build/distribution.html for instructions
on  how to build a copy of Mozilla suitable for distribution.

All binary packages contain the Talkback third-party crash reporting utility.
(including mac!)

mozilla-win32-1.7.10-installer.exe contains core.xpi (compressed core browser
files), mail.xpi (compressed mail/news files), the talkback quality feedback 
agent, and the installer required to install them. 
This is your basic win32 client release.

mozilla-win32-1.7.10.zip contains all of dist/bin from an 
optimized build.  This package includes many debug and test files, and does 
not include an installer.  
If you do not understand this, you should use 
mozilla-win32-1.7.10-installer.exe.

The following builds are for Linux on x86 platforms:
mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.7.10-installer.tar.gz
mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.7.10-stub-installer.tar.gz
mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-1.7.10.tar.gz

The following builds are for Mac OS X:
mozilla-mac-1.7.10.dmg

Packages in other formats and for other platforms will appear as 
they are produced by volunteers.

Packages are gpg signed, and verifiable with the public key found at:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.7.10/KEY
